New fishing gear for 2011

Rapala Rippin' Rap: Designed for long casting and power fishing through weedbeds with an unusally tall and skinny body, the Rippin' Rap features a unique, loud-sounding rattle powered by multiple BBs that pulsate through the water on the retrieve.  The rounded body features a textured scale, gill and detailed fin that are paired with extra large, deep-set 3D holographic eyes that penetrate all water conditions.

Rapala X-Rap Pop: Borrowing and extending upon the popular X-Rap series of lures, Rapala introduces the X-Rap Pop for 2012. The internal long cast mechanism ensures smooth casting to the strike zone and on the retrieve, the magnified pop-and-splash noise created by the unique head design demands big bass action.

Rapala X-Rap Prop: Extending the line even further, Rapala introduces a twin prop bait appropriately named the X-Rap Prop. Designed for long casting, the X-Rap Prop boasts internal laser-etched scales with holographic foil for optimum flash. It's 3D holographic eyes seal the deal while the VMC Feather Tail Hook and No. 6 VMC Belly Treble Hooks hold on tight.

Lucky Craft Fat Smasher
The Fat Smasher from Lucky Craft is a versatile crankbait/swimbait hybrid. Fished in a similar way to a shallow-water crankbait, it rolls with the side-to-side wobble action of a crankbait, but it has a swimbait profile. The double-jointed body gives it a great fish-catching action.

Evolve: Pulse Frog

This topwater frog has a hard body and a pair of hooks that trail it. It's designed to walk, spot and splash upon retrieve. Two wire weedguards ensure that the frog stays snag free.

ima: Square Bill Lowen

This wide-bodied square bill has ideal rolling action built-in. Its 3-D paint schemes pop in the water.
